15DEC12, Apt 22oz, beveled pint Almost clear golden amber in color with a half-finger head dissipating to just a film on the surface. Aroma is not citrusy, not dank, almost earthy or yeasty. Taste is the same but with some considerable malt sweetness, maybe caramel. There's a mild bitterness throughout and it finishes moderately dry. Taste is definitely very full, but difficult to pin down. And the hops are definitely present on the nose, and blend more with the malt in the flavor.

Love this beer but the Oaked Aged brings it over the top good

Strong piney hops with a very strong alcohol finish. Definitely a sipper beer, but overall a good one.

Color clear and perfect. Carbonation seems good. Not overly hoppy but some crazy distinctive (as yet, indistinguishable flavors). I like it. Grapefruit!!!

Tastes more like a brown ale to me. Not much aroma. Leaves me wanting more citrus and hops. Disappointed with this one.

Heavy and hopped. Use as a completing drink. It will hide the flavor of everything.

Not usually a fan of imperial ipas but the oakiness makes this amazing. So smooth and delicious.

Great floral notes. Excellent initial bitter taste that eases with a well balanced malt arrangement.
