clipinski13 - May 20, 2014This ale has the feel and bite of an IPA. Surprised it only had an IBU of 66.6. Crisp and bitter with lasting lace, Lagunitas once again has created a very good brew. The 9.7% ABV is surprising.
Tisen90 - April 28, 2014Undeniably a lagunitas brew, and that's a good thing. This one packs a noticeably heavier punch than the rest I've had so far though. I feels like a meal going down, and that ABV is no joke. Apparently the ABV can change between batches though, as the profile says 9.03, the picture says 9.87, and the bottle in my hand says 9.7. As far as taste, it's another win from lagunitas: A good, smooth bitterness that fades to a syrupy sweet finish.
