yay_grrr - June 29, 2013This is a black IPA. In addition to the hops, this beer is brewer with roasted malts, giving it a dark color and a stout-like quality. Some citrus notes, along with dark chocolate.

specksofdust - May 18, 2013It poured darker than expected. It's good, rich, and complex. Unfortunately, I do not care for the Amarillo hops. They have a distinct flavor that it not my favorite, and the worsen as they warm. The redemption is in the malts, and in the other parts of the hop profile, as well as the boozy finish.
