This is a black IPA. In addition to the hops, this beer is brewer with roasted malts, giving it a dark color and a stout-like quality. Some citrus notes, along with dark chocolate.

Very dark, strong, full body with just the right amount of bitterness. Even the wife likes it.

Very dark black with a surprising and unexpected strong aroma of citrus. Very smooth and citrusy. Excellent taste and finish that defies the color of the beer. Its unexpectedness, consistency, flavor, and abv give it a five star

It poured darker than expected. It's good, rich, and complex. Unfortunately, I do not care for the Amarillo hops. They have a distinct flavor that it not my favorite, and the worsen as they warm. The redemption is in the malts, and in the other parts of the hop profile, as well as the boozy finish.
