A jet-black brew with a silky feel yet with a bitter bite. Abundant roasted malt flavors emerge throughout. Very good.

Originally Stone 11th Anniversary Ale. Jet Black in color with smooth bitter flavor. Very deceptive in taste with high ABV

Full bodied IPA with a nice smokey yet hoppy flavor. Well balanced and full mouthfeel. Not typically a fan of Stone Brewery, but this is one of their better IPA beers.

Piney hops. Dark but not black color. Good head and lace. Slightest tinge of sweetness. Earthy aftertaste. Very decent black IPA

Very hoppy with the feeling of a stout.

Hoppy but not overdone. Smooth dark, smoky taste.

The way a black IPA should taste. Hoppy but not overly so. No bitterness. Good representation of the style
