Amber slightly opaque body with light tan head that leaves moderate lace. Very piney floral hoppy nose with caramel malty and almost cinammon presence. Flavors follow the aromas. Medium bodied with good active carbonation. Slight hop resin residue. Great seasonal that is easy to drink and very tasty.

Not super hoppy aroma/flavor. A little rough on the mouthfeel. But not a bad flavor.

Another delicious offering by Sierra Nevada. Would be a regular choice of mine if sold all year round. Nice robust flavor.

Ok. Tap - mellow mushroom, destin. Retried Nov 2013, overall good IPA with piney and citrus grapefruit taste, good balance.

1/29/12, poured from a bottle. First impressions... Cloudy, light amber, light head and lacing. Really nice aroma (accentuated by my Duvel glass). It's a fresh-hop ale, brewed "for the holidays." I wish I had tried it two months ago when it was a bit fresher. Taste is good, but I won't have it again until next November. 3.5 stars.
