A little light for an oatmeal stout, but great flavor.

Frothy head with great aroma of malt and toffee, maybe even dark berry. Lighter mouthfeel than expected cause it's so dark. Creamy with dark chocolate notes, very little bitterness. Great brew for an even better price- less than $3.50 for a bomber!

I love Samuel Smith's in general. The oatmeal stout is co-captain of the brewery for me along with the Nut Brown Ale.

June 2012; 12 oz bottle. Nothing extraordinary or noteworthy from this stout. Not bad, but nothing to keep me excited. Decent mouthfeel consistent with the style. I won't have this again.

Rich very dark bittersweet chocolate taste but also has a subtle taste of lighter ales. Hints of berry. Ideal stout.

Not only delicious but a great bargain.

I like it better chilled than warm. Has the sour taste when it's warm. Ed liked it warm.

Low carbonation, smooth & malty with slightly bitter finish. I give this a 4.5/5.
Very nice. I like it a lot.
