A solid Oktoberfest sample. A more richer, malty flavor than typical Sam Adams lager. However it doesn't push the boundaries of the style.

Very bitter and strong Wheat taste. Tried it on draft.

Malty, sweet, no hop......ok but not great.

This ice cold bottle of Sam Adams "Octoberfest" doubles as an anti-swelling agent for my newly injured ankle. Sweet.

Better than most October themed beers.

A little on the mediocre side, unfortunately. I want more distinction from my seasonal beers!

The only good American made Märzen I have had. I look forward to September every year for everyone to bring out their "Oktoberfest" and this is one I have to buy every year! Nice amber color, good balance of malt and hops, complex because of the multiple types of malt used, smooth finish

Consider German beers for a good Oktoberfest brew. This one is rather underwhelming.
