Best beer for simmering brats and kraut

Maple flavor does not blend well with hops.

Interesting. Maple and pecan are subdued but that results in a pleasant finish.

Very smooth. Great after taste. One of the best samuel adams beers that I have tried.

It's an ok beer. I love rich roasted malts of porters and stouts, but this left me wanting more. Great redish brown in color. It's sweet which I enjoy with a hoppy finish. But has a stale flavor in the middle which turns me off, maybe I got a bad brew, so I'll definitely try it again. Nothing too outstanding

Smooth and mellow smell with a syrupy sweet taste and a light and slightly charry after taste. Good brew!

A typical porter from Samuel Adams. Nothing special.

Dark & smooth, slight sweetness. Taste just like I thought it would.

Possesses the black appearance and silky texture of a pork. This brew tends to have the right amount of initial flavors, but the sweet notes tend to linger a little too long for my liking. A good beer for those who like a sweet Porter.
