Nice dark red. Good clarity. Medium sized tab head. Malty on the aroma. A bit of earthiness. Malt forward but balanced nicely. English hops come out.
Bottle.

Smooth front with a round feel and a shap finish.

A sweet bittery taste that is a good balance leaning more towards bitter.

Has a hoppy IPA after taste but not bad! Has carmel taste and the more I drink the more I like it.

Decent flavor up front but falls flat on the finish. Another poor attempt from Sam Adams craft line.

For an amber ale it comes across weakly.

A little thin in the palette - could benefit from a heartier malt, but holds up decently to the last swig.

Decent Irish Red. Middle of the road b/w Conway from GLBC and that crappy Killian's from Coors.
