I think this is a darned good, consistent beer. I'm surprised it isn't rated higher. I consider myself to be a beer snob and don't mind supporting Sam Adams. They bring craft beer to the larger beer population.

The quintessential Sam Adams beer! Full bodied, well-balanced, and all around delicious.

Floral taste with a bitter after taste. Some sweetness after the after taste. Pretty good.

Heard mixed things about this beer, but I really enjoyed it. Just a great tasting lager. I have no problem supporting this bigger name brand beer. To me, this brew's "always a good decision."

I grew up in New Hampshire, and I remember when this beer first hit the shelves. I loved it then, and I love it now. I still consider this my "go to" beer when I go out to eat, and I'm always happy to grab the two that come in every Sam Adams variety pack. This beer started my journey into craft brews, and even though many self-appointed beer snobs act like they are too good for it, this beer is still one of the best mass produced brews out there. Cheers to Jim Koch for starting it all!

First beer ever. Smelled sweet; bitter pumpkin taste; caramel colored; cold.

Great beer to go with a big meal. A little bitter for by-itself enjoyment.

I like it more than I remember. Standard beer. I am more of a ipa or ale fan and steer clear of lagers but I don't mind this one. Probably not a good thing for lager lovers.

Very good malts, full flavor. Cincinnati does it right!
