Very simple excellent beer with lots of malt and no hops

Solid rye ale, and a definite pick up when in stock at the local package store. Nicely blended rye and hop notes.

Dry and hoppy with a spicy pepper flare. Solid

This is better than a 3 star but not quite 3.5. On tap would be better but this nutty light hop beer is a bit bland out of the bottle.

Strong but smooth hoppy taste with a peppery begging and balanced rye flavor that gives way to a potent hop aftertaste

Very interesting, like the hoppiness. Not sure about the rye. Will need a couple more to drink.

Nice, exactly as described on label - little peppery on top of a solid IPA.

11OCT12, Apt. Bottle, pint Good rye aroma with a nice bit of hop aroma. Good flavor, mellow malt with mild-moderate bitterness. Bitterness lasts through a mild dry finish with a hint of citrus note to cleanse at the very end. A tad to bitter for my tastes, but still very good.
