Basically no head, even with an aggressive pour. Aroma of chocolate, oatmeal, spices. Smells syrupy sweet. Medium body, slightly syrupy finish to the mouthfeel. Bitter chocolate and sweet dark raisin/date flavors give way to a sweet middle. Sweet bourbon aftertaste. Similar to the Bourbon County Breakfast Stout, but not nearly sweet. Amazing smell in a chalice.

From the pour, no head at all. Very pretty dark color. Flavor of vanilla and Carmel, from the barrel. Nice beer.

Bitter chocolate and sweet dark raisin/date flavors give way to a sweet middle. Sweet bourbon aftertaste. Similar to the Bourbon County Breakfast Stout, but not nearly as sweet. Still slightly too much on the sweet side for my preferences.

Very dark, bitter chocolate taste. It may be just me, but I taste a hint of coconut. Strong bourbon smell.

Mahagony in color with a thin ribbon of khaki head and thick boozy aromas. Some raisins and dates on the Nose too but you can tell this is a high abv beer. Overpowering.
As some other people said this is very unbalanced and has a cheap boozy flavor to it. Thick and viscous with raisins plums and dates to begin following into a thick pungent booze flavor that has a chalky finish. Usually bourbon beers are hard to get wrong but this one is a bit rough. Not balanced. Disappointing.

Pours black with a faint coffee head that quickly dissipates. Very low carbonation. Aroma is sweet, with dates and boozy fig almost. Not a whole lot of bourbon, maybe just some molasses in the booziness. Has a sweet finish, mildly dry, with a friar booziness. It's pretty good. Not my favorite of the style, but a decent winter beer (though it's May).

A legitimately horrible beer. Honestly. I love ipa and porters and strong ales and irish whiskey but this beer is like sipping on cheap bourbon without a chaser.

Aged for 6 months in bourbon barrels, you can definitely tell. Honestly tastes exactly like a boilermaker. 10.5% abv will have you feeling like you drank boilermakers the next morning.
