Jackets60 - March 29, 2013Part of Amelia's Philly trip. 6 month old bottle out of the barrel. Dark black pour with no head at all. Definitely getting the bourbon barrel on the nose with the vanilla. Also some strong chocolate! Good combination of the two in the taste. Great balance as well. Very solid brew! Declaw is representing big time! First brew from them. Hopefully I can get some in the future!
witchal - May 26, 2012Pours dense brown and medium bodied. Huge bourbon chocolate nose, sweet. Hints of vanilla, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate on the pallet with a sweet alcohol burn. Finish is oaky and chocolate. In total, a complex stout and another winner from the folks at DuClaw.
