Completely different than other pumpkin beers. Different is not always better. Pours beautiful copper-orange with a great foamy tan head. Smells good. Clove, nutmeg and sweetbread aromas inviting you to taste. Taste similar to pumpkin pie if it were way over spiced and burnt. I found most of the flavor was in the head. For me this was a nasty brew. I will stick with Dogfish Head.

Very nice! A smooth fall treat with a beautiful pumpkin flavor and all of the Halloween spices. Enjoying October 4, 2014 courtesy of Julia.

I am not a pumpkin fan but this was the best of a bad bunch at the liquor store... Not too sweet but real spicy - maybe cloves..? Too much spice for my liking. There is some dryness from the higher alcohol and maybe a little hops. But all overpowered by the spice.

I'm not typically a pumpkin ale type but this is great stuff. Good spices and pumpkin taste. Not boozy for the alcohol content.

Pretty decent. Lighter than dog fish. Get a brown sugar rim
