mtsquicciarini@gmail.com - January 12, 2014Stouter then Guinness with more flavor. Fantastic dark winter beer

rooster7529 - December 29, 2013It's just my opinion but the first impression I got off the smell was the alcholol smell which was present as well from the first sip .had very little chocolate undertones with little if any coffee flavor if the coffee is there it shows itself in the bitter finish when going down . This will probably be my only go at this beer have had much better in Russian imperial stouts.!! Also it reminds me of a IPA very bitter

crrobins - December 26, 2013Smells like old airplane and coffee. Fantastic! Taste - Mocha. Dark chocolate.

 Jrriley - December 7, 2013
Jrriley - December 7, 2013Sweet cocoa nose with maybe a hint of licorice. Smooth entry but it quickly builds to a strong stout flavor you'd expect from an imperial. Strong coffee notes and some dark chocolate. Not harsh like some stouts, but strong flavored. Probably best with a meal than standalone but could pair with a good cigar on a cold night. Not for the faint hearted or novice!

 Polarbeast - November 27, 2013
Polarbeast - November 27, 2013One of my favorites that I go hunting for. Creamy and roasty without a heavy bitter note, but still perilous. Coffee tone is muted. Totally opaque with a coppery head.
