Fairly nondescript. Nothing special but no complaints

2017 was great. I think I cleared my local Kroger of their stock.

Golden and more hoppy than expected. Tasty even if it isn't real octoberfest

C+. If I rated this for style it would be 5 stars, but for my taste, it is a very average beer. The bottle said 6% abv. 2019 was a lot better, bready malt, medium mouthfeel and a clean finish. B.

Not nearly as malty as a traditional marzen, but with a good amount of hops. Very golden, light, crisp. Easily drink more than one. Good beer, more akin to a German-style lager. (2016)

Mmm. NOVEMBER 5,2016. Surprisingly light.

The 2016 version is brewed in conjunction with Mahrs Brau and weighs in at 6% ABV. Definitely a departure from the typical American versions, this lager is golden, crisp, malty, and well balanced, though not sweet like most O-Fests.

Not the best but not the worst. Decent flavor and a pleasant aroma. However it loses out to other Oktoberfest beers because it doesn't leave me wanting more. It has a way of just ending that doesn't leave you with any notable flavors. Almost like a dry wine that just leaves your palate as soon as you swallow.
