Good, solid, American Marzen

Smoothest Octoberfest beer I have had.

Misclassified as a Marzen / Octoberfest but actually is an Altbier. Pours a golden Amber color. Nice 1/2" long lasting head. Good lacing and medium carbonation. Aroma is caramel, yeast and floral hops. Flavors follow the nose with a hop finish. Mouthfeel is light, not a bad beer but not great either

Drinkable but unremarkable.

Bitter after taste at first, better after a few more drinks

Not too bad, but not my favorite oktoberfest brew by far.

The search for an Oktoberfest that is good enough to have 2 is over. Just a bit of bark, but light enough to repeat.
