When really cold, almost had a nice chocolatey finish, but as it warmed up a little bit developed a strange bitter flavor that I can only compare to hairspray. Was really good, but probably not an everyday kind of ale for me.

Wasn't expecting much when I got it but I wanted to try it simply for the fact that I liked the name and label. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It has a smooth sweet taste to it with a nice mouthfeel. I'm not a fan of regular Newcastle but I would have this again
