No bad aftertaste, but there is a bit of the taste that goes with the bad aftertaste.

It's an alright beer to today's standard. There are notes of nuttiness with limited hops.

I really enjoy these as a casual beer that has some body to it. Nut flavour, light in hops.

To me, this is a classic brew and will always be. It's good all the time. I wouldn't put it in a category next to an amazing craft brew, but it is definitely a fantastic "go to" brew. Also I actually like how Newcastle doesn't stray too far from this original recipe when doing seasonals. You can always count on the consistency of Newcastle when it comes to their flavor.

A tad to sweet on the front end. A little better then an average beer, but a good anytime beer.
