Flavor profile of malt and biscuit. Little to no aftertaste

Standard brown ale with warm, mellow flavor. No bitterness. Not complex, but not bad.

Best of the brown ales

As is the tradition with English style brown ale, New Castle has a profound biscuity/nutty flavor . It has sort of "sharp" mouth feel from the carbonation but less body than I typically prefer in a darker ale. The hops give an iconic earthy character to the beer which is iconic for English variety hops . It's sweetness is subtle, giving way to the biscuit malt .

The mini kegs are fantastic.

Kind if watery but I did get the end of a keg so that probably made a difference. Great brown ale though. Smooth, easy to drink and goes great with fish and chips.

You're better off getting this beer from a keg than buying a pack because of the clear bottle.

My basic drink with meals beer. My everyday beer. Goes down well alone and with most foods. Medium body, good brown ale taste. Malty and without any bitterness.
