Big boy beer - pitch black, minimal head. Smells of dark roasted chocolate. Dark bittersweet chocolate coats the tongue, roasted cocoa, sweet molasses, great mouthfeel. Smokey roasted coffee finish. Pleasantly surprised to see this is a Sierra Nevada product...

Really big flavor , lots of roasty toasty,, heavy but not that heavy for a high grav beer, reminds me of the 30th anniversary Russian imperial stout

Dangerous. Do not drink by the pint. Opt for an 8 oz.

Quite an industrial tasting stout. The name Narwahl does not fit. This taste more like something that would leak into an ocean and kill a Narwahl. That being said, this viscous oil brew is a delicious fuel to a vehicle such as myself. Thick, alcoholy, potent, roasty, and powerful. Not my favorite, but worth having and something I might grab if my regular faves were unavailable.
