2019 version is 8% abv. A good dubbel and good abbey ale. Not quite as stellar as this brewerys quad, Judgement Day, but that is a high bar. The beer has no bad notes but is a little soft and mellow to a fault. This quality makes it an easy-going sipping beer and you could, without trouble, down the bomber in a sitting. Classic double taste of caramel, dark fruits, grape, raisins. Yum.

Good abbey ale; the raisins are much more subdued with a more cleaner citrus finish

Excellent abbey ale. Smooth, delicious, complex. Easy sipping, not overpowering.

Perfect balance of sweet fruit without an ultra high ABV. Loved it

Nice smooth beer with a very slight bitter finish. Easy drinking and very enjoyable. Dark fruit hints on the front with a slight hoppy finish.

Nice. A good one to drink. Not a real distinct t taste. Good to try. Would not have again given others to try.

Preferred lost abbey beer if sour isn't around.
