Pours a dark Copper. Not much aroma. The flavor is a light bread malt quickly followed by a light hops. Well balanced with a light mouth feel.

Saw this while shopping a 25% off sale at Luckys Market that?s closing in Tallahassee, Fl. While it does not quite match my favorite Marzens Gordon Biersch and Sam Adams, it is quite tasty with a rich amber red color, moderate maltiness, and low (24) IBUs. On the can, it says, ?Toasty Malt Flavors dominate upfront and noble hops lead to a spicy and superbly clean lager finish.? I?d say that?s about right. BTW, it is January 2020 and this shelf date for these cans is 10/31/19. So fresh or draft might even be better. I will check out next time I?m in Colorado. I like supporting employee owned business!

nice higher than avg ABV. Had this right after a victory Oktoberfest, and i prefer the victory. THis one was more bitter and less sweet than most oktoberfest

Kind of skunky, bitter...not enough malt for a Marzen...disappointing...

Deep red color. Complex flavor; somewhat malty, almost like trying to compensate for hops. Strong menthol finish, especially after 3 or 4. Does go down pretty smooth.
