Creamy mouth feel with hints of coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Absolutely delicious with no bitter aftertaste considering how dark the brew is. Almost borders in dessert beer but works well with savory meals.

Good tasting beer but I definitely prefer porters. Slight coffee flavor. A little sour taste at first but then overtaken by coffee/ hops. Fair amount of flavor

I had the nitro version of this when I was in Chicago and can't seem do find it in LA, but it was smooth chocolatey and delicious and have found myself craving it lately

After reading all the comments I was shocked this beer is good I think it taste kind of like a chocolate milk, now come on who doesn't like chocolate milk? My girlfriend even loves it and she is a shock top drinker, so if you like dark or maybe not sure ok if you like chocolate than try this beer it's chocolate milk for adults!

An ok beer that has a decent head. A bit too bitter for a milk stout, but has a good, creamy mouthfeel. The nose has an excellent roasted coffee / roasted malt aroma.
