Strong. Kinda fruity and vanilla. A little too boozy for me.

A slight fruity taste with a little sour (Lucky Pie)

Tastes much better out of a bottle than on tap. Way too smokey from the tap.

Rich mahogany colored brew & tan head. Aromas of vanilla, oak and dark fruits. Maple, woodsy & vanilla flavors. Rich, delicious & flavorful.

This was pretty expensive but it's just not that great. It's sweet and smoky (mapley I guess?) and just way too heavy. Drinking it is making me thirsty for christ's sake. After the aftertaste there is a later after taste that's like grapes. Not wine, but grapes.

Just had this and I really love dog fish head beers but I just was not feeling this 2013 ... It have me a bad maple almost fake bacon taste that lingered long after the wonderful vanilla oak flavor : ( sorry i really do love almost all DFH beers but not this one : (

Tastes like a bandaid

Vanilla and oak give a smokey texture. Very noticeable alcohol. Similar to a scotch ale. Some toffee notes in finish.
