Great English ale. Don't let the dark color fool you. Not too hoppy, smooth finish. Very drinkable.

An exceptional dark English Ale, with a full body taste. Not as intense as an IPA, Porter or Stouts. But this brew has plenty notes of coffee, caramel and dark chocolate in the palate.. And good balance of bitterness and thick malty texture flavor. Cheers, from sunny Southern California USA! 8/25/13

Very mild and lightly carbonated. Reminds me of ales pulled from a cask in a traditional English pub. Made to tackle a thirst cause you can drink a lot of this ale. I prefer it a little warmer in a pint glass

A little bitter but not too bad. Nice dark English ale, cool bottle too.

Good beer. Not too hoppy with a lil chocolate aftertaste. Nice and smooth

Aromas of caramel and toffee with taste of dark chocolate. Slight bitterness at the end but not overdone. Great beer!
