FabAru - May 4, 2019Top notch tripel and a unique take on the genre. Heavier than typical tripel, but shares most other characteristics. Yeasty aroma and flavor. Foamy but not excessively carbonated. Tons of flavor. It says dark red, and while the dark has an effect the red does not seem to be significant, other than the appealing color. Overall, Gulden Draak knocked this one out of the park, but this brewery bats fourth so home runs are not unusual.
jph368 - April 1, 2018Decent Belgian ale, malty sweetness with a dried fruits as a backdrop. Not as boozy as the 10.5 would suggest.
