Ok. Was expecting more. Smells sweet bread and pepper. On pull I get slightly bready, alcohol, and lingering pepper but delightfully bubbly through whole pull. Fun to drink but not huge on flavor

Soooo good, bit of a spicy finish, one of my favorite beers

Not just a novelty. Tasty as well! Like all Ommegang beers. 2017 tried again and didn?t really like. Bizarre almost soapy taste. Dropped 2 stars.

Great red ale, lots of flavour, great colour!! Highly recommend for those starting into craft beer but not into the hops.

Amber hue with big ommegang style head. They never produced a red before so I was really excited. Tastes like a traditional Abby with sweeter malt flavor, but the real flavor comes from the peppers. I personally am not a pepper person, so it was not my favorite beer, but I truly appreciated the tastes and complexity.

Terrible.

Pours dark red/brown. Thick foamy head. Nose of yeast and dark fruit. Smooth, but thinner mouthfeel than expected. No chiles detected at all, even as it warmed. Disappointed because of this. Citrusy finish.

Not a bad beer. Good spice, did not notice the chilies though

Probably the most hoppiest of Ommegang but still smooth and enjoyable.
