Good sipping beer. Slightly sweet flavor with a lot of oak coming through. Surprisingly for this style there are some hops showing up too. Almost reminds me of a barley wine.

Warm alcohol flavor. Very smooth, but the molasses and bourbon barrel makes it maybe a little too sweet. Bottle, April 2014.

Remind me of Erie Rail a Bender!

I really do love this beer. It has a great taste. I love the perfect balance of malt and hops. This is the close second to my favorite beer.

Carmel and oak. Pairs well with A Christmas Carol. More bitterness than expected despite labelled IBUs

9-19-13. Nice malty oaky flavor. Very smooth and easy to drink for a 9+% beer. Nice beer.
