Great tripel.. Really unique.. Bourbon smokiness, vanilla, and caramel... Slight bite but excellent Tripel..4.5 stars one of flying fish's best..

The 9.5% made me think it would be strong but it really isn't, the citrus flavor really comes out with a bitter finish. Almost like a blue moon on steroids. Never had a Belgium Tripple but I would definitely have this one again.

I have to say that this along with the Exit 16 are my 2 favorite beers from this brewery. Everything else is just a 3 star or less.

Slightly hazy golden in color with no head and light malt subtly boozy aromas. Belgian tripel - floral and honey tastes with a hoppy bitter finish. Syrupy mouthfeel and malty body. Good for the style but not my favorite
Had again and this a preferable to a lot of belgian trippels, doesn't have the funky yeasty taste and aromas.

Don't know what it is, smells good, but only first two swigs taste good and then starts tastin' bad. Couldn't wait to get rid of them. Tried again at a beer tasting and now I like 'em. Tasted totally different second time. 3-Stars. Wow, tasted a third time and now I luv em. A 5-Star brew now. (Popped a top)
