Nolan- sweet bourbon aroma, taste the whiskey, balanced flavor between whiskey and hop, hop lingers on tongue

2016 edition.. Had on tap.. Nothing mind blowing...hints of floral and piney hops, with a slight zesty flavor.. Could do without lingering aftertaste.. A fairly light bodied beer...3 stars

10.31.15 Seems they have settled on a recipe. It's a good DIPA, but nothing special. Pine, citrus & tabacco.

12th batch 10.31.15! Not so limited or special anymore but a great hop explosion, so I'm not too sad that it is accessible. Comes in 6 packs now too.
Tasty hoppy fresh awesome. Same comments as previous versions. Had on draft 10/12 and the hop aromas are more muted sweet and floral this time. Also has resiny notes. Very frothy slowly dissipating white head. Some grassy notes too. Leaves lacing right down the glass in layers.
The body is light and refreshing with strong resiny hop flavor. Good strong citrus bites too. More resiny this time around, I prefer the citrus and bitterness amped up in the 10th version. A good piney citrusy hophead beer.
