Deep rich coffee, dark fruits undertones; some light sweetness like caramel; malty and complex; great

Nose is nicely complex with caramel, dark fruit, malt, chocolate and hops. Flavor follows the nose largely and shows off some great kettle caramelization. Finish is quite dry but remains complex throughout. Excellent!

Nice and chocolatey, with a little bit of bitterness in the back end. Slight cherry flavor.

2014 variety with stated 8.5% abv. Tan to brown head which isn?t foamy but is liquidy. Dark dark brown to black with red hues in light. The nose is, honestly, magnificent. Chocolate goes without saying (that seems to be required on a stout) but the hazelnut and toffee are, in a word, enticing. Perhaps a bit sweet? That?s the only issue I can come up with. The layers of flavor are exceptional. This is one for the shortlists out there.

Okay stout with a subtle alcohol taste (Barley)

Very tasty, more like an imperial porter with a hop finish. Not as heavy as many imperial stouts, but packed with flavor.

Really nice imperial stout. Roasty, malty with a creamy smooth mouthfeel and some bitterness and bite on the finish
