Eat you heart out Guinness, there's a bounty of flavor within this bottle! Brewed with Sebastopol's Hard Core Coffee (so is that double-brewed?), this stout is black as any good Guinness would be but it keeps your mind searching to define that extra ting of flavor that dazzles your senses with each sip. The after taste is not like most stouts because it's coffee that fills your palette. Your brain knows you didn't just sip some java but a beer and even during that sip the Old Joe was so faint that it only seemed like it was there. No doubt about it, this coffee - err - stout is done well. No cream or sugar necessary.

Simple chocolatey smell (similar to a deschutes). Very viscous, more than I'd imagined. Very tasty, sweet malts and chocolatey mouthfeel. Not a crazy head. Great coffee bean aftertaste

Good balanced slightly sweet coffee stout with hints of caramel and raisins. Crisp finish.

Medium bite with a strong roasted coffee bean flavor. Quite bitter and sweet with a dry cocoa finish. Great drinkability for its style and alcohol percentage. Not my favorite beer by lagunitas but definitely not a disappointment.

Nice bitter flavor from cappuccino. Nose matches flavor profile. Could use some better hopping to create a balanced finish
