Very solid attempt by bud

Not bad, not great either. Think regular Bud with a touch more alcohol taste. 6% ABV definitely noticeable, that 1% from 5 to 6 is where it becomes evident in mu opinion. Pours a touch darker than Bud Heavy. Supposedly this won the brewmasters challenge they had (tried one of the other from the mixed 12-er and was similarly underwhelmed). So, worth a try, but if you just want macrobrew with more alky, go for an ice or a 40 oz instead. $8.50 for a sixer in Arlington, MA...there are far better brews for that price.
