Smells a bit like dog food. Taste is eh. Budweisers attempt to add some flavor, but unpleasant for drinking fast and funky for sipping slow. Not worth it. Odd malt. Odd funk.

Surprisingly not bad for a Bud, Its weirdly sweet tasting, and has a very strange aftertaste, almost like the nutra-sweet aftertaste.

Clear amber in color with a white head and malty aromas. A slightly sweet more complex version of bud. Ok beer tolerable

Why is this called Black Crown? The word Black should be reserved for any beer with full body flavor. I prefer Michelob Amber Bock or Bud Light Platinum over this. This beer lacks any taste, like it was watered down. The only thing redeeming of this brew is the higher ABV 6%. Who gives a shit after drinking 2 or more bottles of this:-) Cheers! 4/21/13

Good first effort away from the tradition AB lager. For a major macro brewery... Not a bad beer

Very little flavor!

Best Budweiser out there. Easy call considering its also the only one I find tolerable. Nice amber color with a slightly sweet taste. Higher abv at 6%.

Not a better Bud, just more of a Bud. Disappointing.
dylpaul - March 29, 2013
Very drinkable. 6%alc. a smooth taste without the Budweiser bitterness.

Very smooth, with woody & caramel notes. Best thing Bud has come out with...
