Sweet, boozy American strong ale, with some nice hop kick. Really good. Bottle, May 2013.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine. Good flavor with hoppiness. Not real bitter, tastes a little sweet but would drink a lot of these. Leaves an aftertaste.

Not really my style but damn good. A little hoppy for my tastes but not overpowering. A nice heavy sweetness and some nice booziness.

Aggressive!

Oh my god. This beer could be so good if the alcohol flavor wasn't so strong. I didn't know if I was drinking a beer or liquor. My husband and I had to give the rest of the six pack away.

This one grew on me as it warmed up. I found it a bit too bitter when I started it, but as it warmed up and breathed a bit, I started to gain a better appreciation for it. This beer is definitely not sweet, as the name might imply, but I believe the brown cane sugar in the recipe lent a certain complexity to it. Overall, not a bad beer at all. Would drink again.

Sweet yet surprisingly hoppy :-(
