YUMMY!! Bought it at Whole Foods. It's a pretty reddish color. A nice small head stays on top after a while. Very smooth and silky. Kind of sweet. A truly nice Belgian ale!! The bottle recommends drinking it from a goblet at 55F. As good as the Ommegang beers.

just a tiny bit sweet and sour but not really too much of either. Very smooth, and definitely the alcoholic taste. Nice finish, and not really hoppy at all.

Ummmm....tasty! Milky smooth and sweet...awesome and worth a try if you can find it. How can you go wrong with a beer named after Thelonius Monk! Gets you nice in no time.

Smooth and tasty Belgian style Abby ale. Can't believe this is 9%. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma. Light carbonation

Belgian style abbey ale from north coast brewing company. The bottle says they support jazz education which is cool cause I do too. $13 4 pack, this beer has been trying to convince me to buy it since the first time I saw it a year ago. It finally got me. High alcohol content mixes with the Belgian ale in a way I've never tasted before. It's sweet with a bite. Plus it's got a badass lookin' dude right on the bottle. Being realistic I probably won't buy this beer again because I go quantity over quality. But if you want to get there quick and not drink high gravity this is a well off man's way to a quick wasted. I also had to slam the first to enjoy the rest.
