It took almost a year but I found a beer in the U.K. that is in the ballpark of US brews. Worthy of another taste if I come across it again. Would definitely try more from this Scottish brewer.

Surprisingly dry for an IPA. Light fruit, pine and caramel balance. Purchased at the Express Stop in Bowling Green, OH.

Better out of bottle than on draught as is nowhere near as strong tasting and actually an enjoyable beer.

Definitely tropical flavours, hoppy and gentle bitter finish. V good beer.

Good but try almost any American west coast IPA this doesn't compare at all. Time to catch up Europe.

Delicious. Good amount of hops

At the Stockholm Hilton Slussen. Pretty bitter, but tasty. I think it's an English "bitter" that I'm tasting. Which in this case is not so off-putting. I need to find out what hops are being used. An interesting English/American mix.

Good quality iPa consistency from bottle to bottle can be an issue. Dry and citrusy. Maybe a bit gassy.
