Nothing special about this beer. It had a sweet after taste but I wouldn't say it was Vanilla.

Does not taste like a dark. Vanilla is better on tap.

Thin. Not complex. Some vanilla at the start. Not offensive but no thrills.

Mad vanilla flavor! Super creamy.

Typical malt smell. First smelled like an ale.
Creamy taste. Like cream soda. Full beginning but light bodied finish. Can't pick up the root beer.
Not much lacing.

Lacks any vanilla flavor. Strong bitter aftertaste. Would not try again.

A phenomenal porter, one of my favorite beers ever. Dark, malty, and just the perfect amount of sweetness without being disgusting! If you get a chance, hit up the brew pub in Denver, it's even better on tap!

Great example of how to use vanilla bean in brewing. Decently smokey.
