Smooth, dark with coffee taste; not bitter; yet lacking depth; no pizzazz

Strong stout with an oatnut dry finish

Very drinkable, not the best oatmeal stout if had but definitely worthy of another buy: so I can't complain too much!! :)

I've never tried an oatmeal stout prior to this, and I must confess it really is very good. I'm no tasting expert, but the taste of roasted coffee in this definitely had the edge taken off it with the oatmeal. There was a nice texture and mouthfeel to this one, and a lingering sweetness after the coffee taste passed. Definitely a good first try with this style.

Bold. Strong coffee-taste (relative to my taste buds, at least) but also has some chocolate notes. Good beer.
