Nice malty flavor. Doesn't taste like it's 11%.

Nice malty flavor. Balances well with the 11% alcohol.

Alcohol flavor to be bumbling

Red amber. Taste nice until finish. Heavy alcohol finish. 11% barleywine. Gets better as you drink.

Beautiful barley wine. Had a little bit of an alcohol finish, but not too much. I enjoyed this four pack

2010 vintage - very little head. Pleasant amber color. All malt aroma. Malty flavor that has difficulty balancing the 11% alcohol. May need more time.

Gets you drunk! Very hefty beer good thick brew

There was a distinct smokiness to accompany the sort of strong malt and grain flavors one would expect in a barleywine of this strength, as well as hints of pine that seemed independent from the sort of piney-resin taste from a serious hops infusion. All in all, one of my favorite barleywines.
