Dark, creamy. Good roasted notes. Their choice to nitrogenate rather than carbonate is curious and doesn't quite fit the style. I wonder if the other chains do the same?

The maltiest thing I have ever tasted next to bread. It's pretty good in the winter or fall and really good with pasta or pizza. Surprisingly smooth for its looks and very much a beer id get again when at BJ's. Defiantly a darker beer and very drinkable with good food or on its own. Subtle coffee and almost bread tasting but goes down so easily. So complex and so good.

1/4 inch head, deep dark brown color. Very smooth, silky mouthfeel not at all harsh. Definitely some chocolate notes but not picking up much else. Still, probably the most drinkable porter I've ever had.

Not a porter that fits my tastes. Was a bit flat and lacking in flavor. Not bad at all, just not something I would seek out.

Very creamy! It's not like any other Porter I have had. The Carmel aroma stands out for sure..
