Tastes like a heavy Amber. No spice line you would expect I. An Xmas ale. Not so heavy couldn't have a second.

Fresh, middle-ground flavor. Reminds me of Blue Moon's signature beers. Works well with an orange slice added.
Bit of a bitter aftertaste.
The more I drink it, the more I dislike it.

Pours a reddish copper in color with zero head. Fruity aromas at first with piney undertones. Light in body has a spicy malty flavor at the start like cinnamon and star anise. Malty bready at the start,
has a spicy character throughout but finished very clean and crisp. A good winter warmer would have again.
1/9/16 update - did have again on draft. Again very good very crisp solid winter warmer.

Pours dark copper with thin head. Smells like apples grapes an plums. Tastes fruity also with some spice. Hint of rye ? Good mouth feel. Dam fine Xmas ale

Fresh, hoppy flavor. Warm and malty too. This is a really, really good beer. It's like a crisp winter afternoon warmed by the sunlight. Haha! Beer poetry.
