Pours a dark brown to opaque black. with a big pillowy head and good lacing. Decent carbonation. Aroma of molasses, malt, smoked grains. Mouthfeel is creamy. Taste is malt, molasses, and slight sweetness. Goes down easy like a lager, but has the flavor of a darker beer. Good balance, a very tasty beer, good representation of the style.

I love this beer. It made my 45th birthday fantastic. Can't wait to have more.

Pours a medium to dark amber color and head subsides fairly quickly. Aroma is sweet and smells of malted barley and amber honey. Taste is not as sweet as the smell. Def not bitter, med to full bodied. Finish does not linger. No hop bitterness. Pleasant beer.
