Quite dark, strong, malty taste. Too bitter for my preference.

Good rich smooth sweet brown. Carmel with a bite.

The smell/nose is soy sauce very distinctly, with brown sugar. Mouthfeel is nice, a little syrupy but thinned with alcohol. Then I notice raisins or dates, salt, and sweetness of booze again. Overall, left me a little off balance in terms of whether it not I like it. I think the nose really throws me.
