jduzich - August 3, 2015Good pairing with burgers, Mexican good, and spicy food in general. Good with meat.
Beerguy33 - July 20, 201522 oz bottle into a Pilsner glass. Pours a dark copper/Amber color with a white puffy head. Moderate to low carbonation and excellent spiderweb lacing. Medium / heavy mouthfeel. Aroma is sweet, malty, smokey, caramel and a hint of piney hops. Taste is much the same with a heavy malt backbone, very assertive and the alcohol is readily apparent. Bitter hop finish but not overwhelming. Overall a very malt heavy beer, very complex, and a quality beer. Might be too malt heavy for my taste but good nonetheless.
