Taste kinda strong. Not really my style, but it doesn't leave a "strong" after taste.

This is my first venture into Bock territory, and I can tell its going to take some getting used to. This beer has an extremely heavy aroma of plum and raisin. The flavor is heavy as well, and I did not like it at first. It grew on me as I drank more, but I did notice that even though the aroma and flavor are boozy, the ABV is a little cheap in the 5% realm, especially for me that loves the high ABV stuff.

Dark chocolate and citrus aroma. Darker, milder, and more sessionable than a typical bock. Deep roasted bitter chocolate flavor and citrus from hops. Enjoyable!

Outstanding. Smooth finish,no aftertaste.

Good to average tasting with a bad malty aftertaste once it warms some.

Pours: brown with slight tint of red. Thick tan head
Nose: Malty, very similar to Anchor Steam,
Taste: rich, carmely, raisiny, slight chocolate bite, finishes drier with hop presence on back of palate.
Mouthfeel: bold, malty, warming
All around a great, here comes Spring beer.
