A dark ale with only a slight sweet aftertaste of spruce. I would like to try this Beer again to evaluate more critically.

HAS A BERRY FLAVOR THAT, IF NOT EXPECTED, CAN BE OFF PUTTING

Average beer with a semi unique finish, not my favorite beer by Alaskan, like their white and stout

Very impressive, lots of flavor, smooth with a sweet taste off the spruce

Lighter appearance than I expected. Smell is pretty earthy. Flavor is quite nice. The spruce tips lend a sweetness that is reminiscent of a jolly rancher. Nice mouth feel with a resinous, sweet flavor. Very enjoyable.

Pretzel finish

Good with unique funky taste presumably from spruce. Great mouthfeel and wonderfully warming.

A very well balanced, very slightly sweet taste. People who say it tastes like Budweiser on steroids are idiots who probably like Bud Ice or Genny Cream Ale. It's smooth and tasty. We'll worth a try.

Delicious. Smooth, with a sweet taste.

Basically tastes like Budweiser on steroids, only more of a unique "microbrewery" flavor. It's definitely an acquired taste, and has a very distinctly sweet aftertaste. ðŸ‘
