Smooth, starts with a strong toasty flavor, ends with a sweet slightly chocolate flavor, very dark

Very dark brown, almost black body w/ thin khaki head. Roasted malt, chocolate & espresso nose & flavors w/ moderate hop profile. Slightly boozy & full bodied. Excellent.

06DEC12, Lexington Beerworks, Lexington, KY Draft, snifter Has a nice hop-chocolate blend on the nose and the flavor. Low carbonation, thick mouthfeel, good good drank.

Great stout has a higher hops taste but not overwhelming and a great malt taste from 3 different types of malt! Overall pleasant flavour!
