dkrenik - October 6, 20162016 vintage @ 10% ABV. Nearly opaque mahogany with ivory Belgian Lace that lingers. Roasted malt is buttressed by floral hop aromas. Medium full bodied with good carbonation. More roasted malt with soy dark skinned fruit on the palate.
Great shit.

bockboy@att.net - July 9, 2016A-. Burnt sugar and slight spicy nose. Taste of honey and earthy spice with dry finish with warming alcohol. 2015 is 12%.
Tried a 2015 in 2022 and it was mostly raisin with a bitter bite, poured out most of it. Still a C+

Asktheaxis - September 16, 2015Very sweet (honey?) with strong alcohol flavor. Slight hoppy. Too many flavors for my preference.

MisterMan - August 10, 2015First off, *im no beer expert*
Which is why I've joined :)
I just remember this being one of my favorites. It hits you hard, and the hint of vanilla is delicious.
Although I do remember it being higher than 9%

aaf145 - May 16, 2015One of the Better Lost Abbey brews.. Honey and raisin flavor comes through ...the Rosemary and hops give a slight bite.. But a huge abv, mixed with the belgian yeast gives this beer a nice taste, flavor, and strength...4 stars

HSAlegend02 - May 16, 201510% abv, tasting the raisins and the maltiness, slightly boozy but overall very tasty

mattgomer@hotmail.com - September 14, 2014Sweet and raisiny. Some honey finish. Good beer. Would drink again.

zomerhouse - January 24, 2014Pours dark brown. Thick tan head. Mild sweetness, with honey and raisins on the nose. Thick mouthfeel. Smooth balanced flavors of dark fruits and a kind of molasses flavor. Warms nicely toward the end. Clean and sweet finish, where I get the nice honey flavor.
